Ten minutes with a tape measure
We cut to exactly the numbers you send us — nothing is deducted, nothing rounded up. So they are worth taking slowly.

Measure the seat base, not the old cushion
Old marine foam compresses and soaks up water over the years. Measure the seat base or berth platform itself — the hard surface, not the pad lying on it.

Read it at both ends, write the smaller
Few boat seats are perfectly square. Measure the length at the front and again at the back, then write down the smaller of the two so the cushion still drops in.

Cheap cushions are filled with shredded or re-bonded offcuts: firm in week one, sagging by month six. Yours is cut from a single high-density block.
Density is how long it lasts. Firmness is how it feels. We publish ours; most sellers don't.

What does the 14-day fit guarantee cover?+
It covers our side of the job. We cut to the measurements on your order exactly — nothing is deducted or rounded — and every order is checked by hand before the foam is cut. If what arrives doesn't match those numbers, send us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we cut you a new one, free. The window starts the day it reaches your door, not the day you order. If the boat seat itself was measured wrong, that isn't covered — but send a photo before you order and we'll help you get the numbers right.
How thick should a boat cushion be?+
3–4 inches of high-density foam for cockpit benches and helm seats, 4–5 inches for a sun pad you lounge on, and 2 inches for a slim V-berth infill. You set the exact thickness when you configure.
How long does it take to arrive?+
Everything is made to order. Your lead time is shown before you pay, not after, and the tracking link arrives the moment it leaves the workshop.
Can I order the cover only, or just the foam?+
Yes — full cushion, cover only, or bare foam cut to size, through the same configurator and the same checkout. If the seat sags but the cover is still good, foam-only is usually all you need.
How do I clean it?+
Covers unzip. Indoor cloths sponge clean; outdoor and marine cloths take a soft brush with mild soapy water and air drying. Care instructions for your specific fabric come in the box.
