Frequently asked questions.

You choose a shape, tell us the exact measurements, pick your foam and fabric, and we hand-stitch it in our atelier. No warehouse pulls, no “close enough” — every piece is cut and sewn for your specific furniture. You see a live price as you configure, and we only start production once the order is confirmed.

Use a firm tape measure, not a fabric one — it stays straight and honest. Measure the furniture itself, not an old cushion (old cushions stretch and compress).

  • Width — side to side, at the widest point
  • Depth — front edge to back
  • Thickness — how tall you want the cushion to sit

Round to the nearest quarter inch or half centimetre. Our measuring guide walks through every shape.

A rough guide:

  • 1–2″ (2.5–5 cm) — dining chairs
  • 3″ (7.5 cm) — everyday seat cushions, benches, window seats
  • 4–5″ (10–12.5 cm) — lounge seating, sofas, deep outdoor seats
  • 6″+ (15 cm+) — floor cushions and very plush lounging

Unsure? Send a photo of the piece and we’ll suggest a thickness that suits the proportions.

High-density foam is a firm core that holds its shape for years. It’s our default for seat cushions and anywhere weight-bearing: it doesn’t sag and feels supportive day one and year five. We use 32 kg/m³ as our standard.

Fibre fill is softer and cloudier — better for back cushions and throw pillows. For the best of both, ask about a foam core with a fibre wrap: firm support, soft touch.

Yes — pick Cover Only during configuration. We’ll sew the cover to your measurements and ship it ready to slip over your own foam. Most people save around 30% this way.

Our foam is CertiPUR-US certified — low-VOC, no heavy metals, no harmful flame retardants. There may be a faint “new foam” smell for the first day or two; air the cushion in a well-ventilated room and it clears on its own. See our certificates.

For outdoor cushions we use reticulated dry-fast foam — an open-cell structure, so water runs straight through instead of pooling and it dries within hours of a shower. Standard indoor HD foam is not waterproof; don’t leave it outside uncovered.

1,000+ fabrics, across dozens of curated collections — outdoor weaves, easy-clean lines, linen blends, velvets and more. Filter by colour and use (indoor / outdoor) in our fabric library.

Any fabric tagged Outdoor in our library. Solution-dyed acrylic is our go-to — UV-stable for years of direct sun, and it shrugs off rain, spills and mildew.

Browse the fabric library, save the colours that catch your eye, then request them from your swatch list. We post samples worldwide at no cost — always worth feeling the real thing before you commit.

Yes — all available as extras in the configurator. Piping can match or contrast, and ties come in any length and quantity. A zipper is set into the back seam in a colour chosen to match your fabric.

Typical production is 10 to 18 business days from order confirmation. Simple shapes in stocked fabrics run faster; complex shapes or special-order fabrics sit at the longer end. You’ll get a confirmed date in your order email.

Once your cushion leaves our atelier it ships fully tracked:

  • USA & Canada — 3–4 business days
  • UK & Europe — 3–4 business days
  • GCC / Middle East — 3–4 business days
  • Rest of world — 5–8 business days

Your tracking link arrives the moment the parcel leaves our door.

It covers our side of the job: we cut to the measurements on your order exactly, and every piece is checked by hand before the foam is cut. If what arrives doesn’t match the numbers you gave us, send a photo within 14 days of delivery and we’ll remake it, free. The window starts the day it reaches your door. A seat measured wrong at your end isn’t covered — but message us before you order and we’ll help you get the numbers right.

Because each cushion is cut for your exact measurements and fabric choice, we can’t accept returns for change of mind. What we can do is help you measure twice before ordering, ship free swatches so you know the fabric in advance, and stand behind every stitch if something’s off.

For everyday spots, a soft brush or vacuum removes loose dirt. For stains, mix a little mild soap in lukewarm water, sponge gently, rinse and air dry. Don’t machine-wash the foam-filled cushion, don’t tumble dry, and skip the steamer on delicate weaves. Care instructions for your specific fabric come in the box.
