What foam and fill does Foamera use?
Foamera cushions are made to the width, depth and thickness you enter, with one of three fill choices on the product page: High Density Foam, Fiber Fill, or Cover Only if you already have an insert. A Fiber Wrap can be added as an extra.

What are the fill choices?
Fiber Fill
Soft polyester fiber for a relaxed, pillow-like sit. The product page recommends it for back rests and casual cushions.
Cover Only
A cover sewn to your size without an insert, for reusing foam you already have. See how to fix sagging couch cushions.

Density and firmness are separate measurements: the Polyurethane Foam Association notes that firmness is independent of foam density. The foam density guide explains both, in lb/ft³ and kg/m³.

Which fill choices are on the product page?

Is denser foam firmer?
No. The Polyurethane Foam Association notes that firmness is independent of foam density, so a dense foam can be soft and a lighter foam can be firm. See the foam density guide.

Can I get memory foam?
Memory foam is not one of the fill choices on the product pages. HD foam vs memory foam explains how the two differ.

What foam is used in outdoor cushions?
Outdoor product pages, for example the square patio cushion, describe quick-dry reticulated foam that lets water pass straight through. Can I order just a cover for my own foam?
Yes. Choose Cover Only on the product page and enter the size of your insert.

Where do I choose the fabric?
On the same product page, after the fill. You can browse every line first in the fabric library, and what goes into a Foamera cushion shows the fill and fabric choices side by side.
