Mudroom benches are usually for quick sit-downs to pull on boots, so a firm 2″ (5 cm) of high-density foam is plenty and keeps the seat easy to step over. Deeper reading or window benches can go to 3″. You set the exact thickness when you customize. Cut to ±1 cm of your numbers — unsure? Send a photo on WhatsApp and we confirm before making it.
Can you fit a cushion inside a cubby or locker bench opening?
Yes. Measure the opening width and depth precisely and we cut the cushion to drop in snugly, including trapezoid shapes if the walls aren't perfectly square. Send a photo on WhatsApp if you'd like us to check the fit first.
Which fabric handles wet coats and muddy boots best?
