Measure the straight edge end to end, which is the diameter, and the depth from the middle of the straight edge out to the curved point. Every cushion is cut to plus or minus 1 cm. If it is a partial curve, send a photo on WhatsApp and we template it before we make it.

Q: Can you make a D-shape where only one side is curved?

Yes. A semi circle is exactly that: a flat straight edge with a curved front. If your seat is a shallower D-shape rather than a true half-round, give us the straight width and the depth and we cut to it.

Q: How thick should a semi circle seat cushion be?

For a bench or step seat, 2 to 3 inches of high-density foam is firm and comfortable; a decorative hearth pad can be 1 to 2 inches. You set the exact thickness when you customize.
