Tufting shows best on cushions 3 inches and thicker, where the buttons create visible depth. On very thin cushions the effect is subtle. You choose the thickness when you customize.

Rectangular and square cushions tuft most cleanly, such as benches, window seats, ottomans and headboards, but we can tuft other shapes too. Ask us if you have a specific layout in mind.

Button tufting draws the cover and fill together at set points, which stops the foam from shifting and gives the cushion its classic dimpled, tailored surface. It's both decorative and functional.
