Inch vs cm Cushion Sizing (US, UK & EU)

Should I measure in inches or centimetres?

Use whichever unit you are comfortable with; the result is the same. Customers in the US usually measure in inches, and customers in the UK and the EU usually measure in centimetres. Keep every measurement of one cushion in the same unit, because mixing the two on one cushion leads to wrong sizes.

What are common cushion sizes in both units?

The tables convert common measurements at 1 in = 2.54 cm. Centimetres are rounded to the nearest whole number and inches to the nearest 1/4 in.

How do I convert fractions of an inch?

1/4 in is about 0.6 cm, 1/2 in is about 1.3 cm, 3/4 in is about 1.9 cm, and 1 in is exactly 2.54 cm. Convert your original measurement once rather than rounding twice.

Do UK and EU cushions use different standard sizes?

Common scatter cushion sizes differ by region: the US often lists 18 in or 20 in cushions, while the UK and EU sell 45 cm or 50 cm. Because Foamera makes cushions to your measurements, you do not need a standard size; enter your exact measurement in either unit.

What should I send if I am unsure?

Send your measurements in any unit, with a photo of the tape in place, to hello@foamera.com or on WhatsApp.
