What thickness works for a trundle bed cushion?
For a pad used as both a seat and a bed, 4–6″ (10–15 cm) of high-density foam gives proper sleeping support while still fitting under the main bed when rolled away. Slimmer daybed seats often use 3–4″. You set the exact thickness when you customize.
Can it be used as a real sleeping mattress?
Yes. With high-density foam at 4″ or more it works as a firm guest-bed mattress; for regular nightly sleeping choose the thicker end of the range. Tell us the main use and we'll suggest the right foam.
How do I measure a trundle or daybed?
Measure the length and width of the flat platform the pad sits on, and decide the thickness, rounding to the nearest cm or quarter inch. Every pad is cut to ±1 cm. Full picture guide: How to measure.
Can I get a removable, washable cover?
Yes. Choose a fabric and add a zippered cover so it can be taken off and cleaned — worth it for a surface used daily by kids or guests.
