Ready-to-ship pillows, answered.

• What's the difference between ready-to-ship and custom?

  Our ready-to-ship range is a curated selection — fixed sizes, fixed fabric pairings, sewn ahead in our atelier and waiting on the shelf. They ship in 48 hours. Custom orders are made specifically for you in your measurements, your fabric, your trim — that takes 10 to 18 business days. Same workshop, same hands, same stitching standards. The only difference is whether we made the decision in advance or you make it now.

• How fast will it actually arrive?

  We despatch within two business days of your order. After that, transit time depends on where you are: 3 to 6 business days within Europe and the UK, 4 to 8 to North America, 3 to 5 to the GCC, and 6 to 12 to the rest of the world. So most domestic European orders are at your door in under a week start to finish. We use DHL, UPS and FedEx — tracking shared the moment your parcel leaves us.

• Is the insert included or cover-only?

  Both options are available — pick at checkout. The cover-only option suits people who already have well-stuffed pillow inserts and want a fresh look without doubling up. Our with-insert option includes a 5-7-3 down-and-feather blend insert sized one inch larger than the cover, so the corners stay plump (the trick most catalogue pillows miss). Synthetic insert option also available if you prefer a cruelty-free fill.

• Can I order single pillows or only sets?

  Both. Most ready-to-ship combinations come as curated pairs — two complementary fabrics in the same colourway — because that's how designers actually use throw pillows. But you can order any one as a single, or break a set if you only need one. Just select the variant. For a sofa, we'd usually suggest two of one fabric and one accent — three total — unless your sofa is over 84 inches, where four works better.

• Indoor or outdoor — does it say which is which?

  Yes, every ready-to-ship pillow is tagged for use. Indoor pillows use linen, velvet, bouclé and Aquaclean blends; outdoor pillows use solution-dyed performance weaves. Outdoor pillows can come inside without issue — they're just engineered to handle UV and rain too. Indoor pillows shouldn't go outside; they fade and mildew. Filter the collection by tag and the right ones surface.

• Can I return them?

  Ready-to-ship pillows can be returned within 14 days of arrival, unused, in original packaging — they're our only stocked items and that's why returns work for them (custom-made cushions, by contrast, can't be returned because they're cut for you). Email hello@foamera.com with your order number to start a return. Outbound shipping isn't refunded; return shipping is on the buyer.

• Can I reorder the same fabric later as a custom piece?

  Almost always — and we'll match it as closely as the dye lot allows. Note your order number, message the atelier, and we'll pull the fabric reference from your record and quote a custom build to your dimensions. Some seasonal or limited-run cloths sell out and don't come back; we'll tell you upfront if that's the case and suggest the closest in-stock alternative.
