  • Brush or vacuum before any wet cleaning.
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean lint-free cloth.
  • Test any new cleaner on a hidden seam first.
  • Plump, rotate and swap cushion positions weekly.

Don't

  • Never machine-dry outdoor or velvet covers.
  • No pressure washers — they break down fabric coatings.
  • Skip fabric softeners and scented detergents.
  • Don't store cushions damp or sealed in plastic.

  • How does a custom cushion order actually work?

    You choose a shape, tell us the exact measurements, pick your foam and fabric, and we hand-stitch it in our atelier. No warehouse pulls, no "close enough" — every piece is cut and sewn for your specific furniture.

    You'll see a live price as you configure, and we only start production once the order is confirmed.

  • Can I change my order after placing it?

    For the first 24 hours, absolutely — measurements, fabric, foam, all of it. After that we start cutting, and changes depend on how far we've gone. Drop us a message right away if something's off and we'll figure it out together.

  • Can I order a shape that isn't on the site?

    Yes. If you have an odd-angled bench, a curved banquette or a corner sofa we don't list, send us a sketch or a photo with measurements and we'll quote it manually. Use the Ask the atelier form — most custom shapes are no problem.

  • How long until my cushion is made?

    Typical production is 10 to 18 business days from order confirmation. Simple shapes in stocked fabrics run faster; complex shapes or special-order fabrics sit at the longer end. You'll get a confirmed date in your order email.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes — everywhere courier service reaches. We partner with DHL, UPS and FedEx depending on the destination. You'll see a calculated shipping cost at checkout before you pay. Europe/UK 3–6 days, North America 4–8 days, GCC 3–5 days, rest of world 6–12 days.

  • Can I return a custom cushion if I change my mind?

    Because each cushion is cut for your exact measurements and fabric choice, we can't accept returns for change of mind. What we can do is help you measure twice before ordering, ship free swatches so you know the fabric in advance, and stand behind every stitch if something's off.

  • What if it arrives wrong or damaged?

    Open everything within 48 hours and photograph anything that looks off. Email the photos to hello@poufudic.com with your order number and we'll remake, refund or fix it — whichever makes it right for you. This applies to our mistakes and shipping damage both.

  • My cushion arrived flat — is that normal?

    Completely normal. It's been vacuum-sealed for shipping. Unzip, pull out the foam, give it a shake and leave it to breathe for 2–4 hours. If it still feels under-loft after 24 hours, send us a photo and we'll make it right.
